University of Salford

Based on a riverside campus just outside of Manchester city centre, the University of Salford is leading in media, health and built environment. Manchester has the largest student populations in Europe, so you certainly won’t be alone while you study.

There are four university campuses which have been hugely invested in to offer you modern facilities to learn in. This something that’s ongoing to ensure that you fully benefit from your university experience.

Eight schools make up the university:

  • School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Sciences

  • Salford Languages

The main campus – Peel Park- is home to most of the lecture theatres, study facilities and Student Union, while the Arts and Media school is located at Adelphi.

The £22m Health & Social Care building is complete with practice clinics, hospital ward facilities and a human performance lab.

The fourth campus is located at Media City, and sits amongst over 80 creative and digital organisations, including the BBC and ITV.

Manchester city centre is within easy reach of all four campuses, where you will be spoiled for choice with theatres, museums, shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.
