Bath Spa’s history goes back to the original Bath School of Art in 1852, but these days the university is also known for its teacher training and performing arts courses.
With modern research and teaching facilities, the university is divided into six schools of study
- Art & Design
- Humanities & Cultural Studies
- Institute for Education
- Music & Performing Arts
- Research & Graduate Affairs; and Society
- Enterprise and Environment.
With new courses being added, the university has worked with employers and businesses to ensure they are relevant to that particular industry. As a result the university has many partnerships and opportunities with employers.
In September 2016 they will open their new student accommodation in Green Park House which will be a mix of rooms including en-suites and apartments.
