Queen Mary University is a 5 campus university offering undergraduate courses on a full-time basis only. It was founded as a centre for East London education in 1887, and the Mile End college has stayed as such ever since.

Only two of their campuses are used for undergraduate study; their flagship campus in Mile End, where the majority of the Queen Mary academic schools are housed, and the Whitechapel campus for medicine and dentistry students.

This East End University is home to 11,200 Undergraduate students, 73% of which are UK residents. The Mile End campus features a student village, with 2,000 rooms available to Queen Mary students, plus a number of rooms available at the Whitechapel campus for medical students. The staff team totals 4,000 people teaching over 240 courses.

Queen Mary is one of just 24 UK Universities represented by the Russell International Excellence Group, was ranked in the UK’s top 10 for research excellence in 2014, and six Nobel Peace Prizes have been won by a mixture of Queen Mary’s staff and former students.
